The Cellar Door is the place to enjoy our current vintages. Our tasting flights allow you to try 4 different wines while learning about each’s unique characteristics and connection to the land we steward. A selection of small plates and cheese platters are available to perfectly accompany your wine experience. Our full range of current releases are available by the glass & bottle to enjoy by the fire or outside in our idyllic garden courtyard. No bookings are required for the Cellar Door.
Our passionate team can further guide you through the finer points of tasting and delve into more select, older vintages during a private tasting. Cave and Winery Tours also run daily from the Cellar Door – visit Home Block (the region’s oldest vineyard), do a tasting in New Zealand’s largest wine cave and catch a glimpse of the winemakers in action. Our talented Chefs in the Winery Restaurant are passionate about creating seasonal dishes, brimming with flavour and sourced sustainably & locally. With Chef’s gardens nestled across the Gibbston Valley property and a 100-acre station to roam on, there’s never a shortage of fresh ingredients. Seating is available both inside and outside in our lush garden courtyard – perfect for enjoying over spring and summer.
Bookings are recommended. For groups of ten and over, bookings are essential. The Winery Restaurant space is also available for private evening functions.

Return transportation from Queenstown is available on Gibbston Valley’s daily shuttle service.
Most of our wines are BioGro NZ Certified Organic and all current vintages are Certified Vegan. We make conscious and careful steps to steward the land sustainably with attention to regeneration of native flora & fauna as well as using on-site gardens and beehives for our restaurant produce.
