Kinross Winery

Kinross is a winery located in the heart of Gibbston, the valley of the wines, and just 10 minutes drive from Arrowtown. We have a Cellar Door, Bistro and Boutique Cottages.

Our Cellar Door not only showcases our own Kinross wine but also four other fantastic wine partners Valli, Hawkshead, High Garden and Wild Irishman wines. The hosted wine experiences focus on the storytelling of these fantastic producers and are delivered by a team of internationally trained Wine Advisors.

Whether you’re visiting Kinross via the cycle trail, winding high above the Kawarau River, joining one of the many wine tour companies or coming out to spend a night under an International Dark Sky Park, there is something for everyone.

Kinross has just been named the first Qualmark New Zealand Wine Tourism award winner for 2024, making our wine experiences the best in the country. Alongside this accolade we are a Qualmark Gold recognised and one of TripAdvisors Traveler’s choice businesses for 2024.
